Jordanne Scott

Jordanne began her dance and gymnastics training at the age of 3. She quickly advanced to a provincial level gymnast, and became a competitive level dancer at Tiffany’s Dance Elite by the age of 5. It was here that she received her Elite full-time coaching from known choreographers Shannon Mather and Tiffany Mclaughlan. She has also been fortunate enough to be able to work with some other amazing choreographers such as Wade Robinson, Mia Michaels, Dee Caspery, Mark Meismer, Mikeal Knight and Blake McGrath. Jordanne has competed at many national level finals including: Myrtle beach, Ocean City and Las Vegas, and also claimed a title at Dance Masters of America as “Mini Miss Dance America”. Jordanne also furthered her training at Premiere Dance Arts as a competitive level student for her final years as a competitive dancer.

She began her teaching career at the age of 13 where she began teaching acro and jazz classes at Studio Dance Pointe. She later took her own talents to a professional level to perform on Disney Cruise Lines in 2010. Jordanne has always shown creativity and has a natural ability to motivate and inspire her students to push themselves to new levels. Many of her choreography pieces win overall awards, scholarships, and outstanding choreography awards. Jordanne is passionate about teaching and enjoys watching her students develop and grow into strong, talented dancers.


Amber Mattox

Amber began her dance training at Tiffany’s Dance Elite in Hamilton, ON at the age of 9. Her skills quickly excelled, allowing her to further her training at the National Ballet School, where she studied from the  age of 11 until high school, and allowed her to perform in the NBS annual Nutcracker performance. Amber was also accepted to and attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School at the age of 14.

She then returned to the competitive dance industry where she was able to work with the industries top instructors such as Tiffany Mchlaughlan, Shannon Mather, Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Dee Caspery, Mark Meismer, Mikeal Knight, Brian Friedman, Mandy Moore, and Blake Mcgrath (as her duet partner). Amber  has won numerous overall awards and scholarships all over Canada and the United States, and performed in many shows such as the Contessa awards and the annual Aids Benefit fundraiser.

While attending the University of Western Ontario,  she was also member of Huron Heat, one of the University’s top dance teams. Amber then took her dance training to a professional level where she performed for Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and expanded her talents to train in Aerial Arts as well.

She has been a head coach for Studio Dance Pointe for over 10 years and has brought back her training and experience to her students. Amber is committed to teaching and enjoys watching her students develop into strong dancers and move into careers of their own.


Katy Miller - RAD RTS

Katy has been dancing since the age of 2 in many dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern and Contemporary. She grew up trainging through the Royal Academy of Dance in ballet, completing her Advanced Exams.

Katy Attended The Quinte Ballet School of Canada and The Banff Centre for the Arts Professional Training program for many summers. After dancing competitively through high school, she was accepted to the Ailey School affiliated with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Fordham University in New York City where she furthered her studies in Ballet, Jazz, Horton, Modern and Tap. She then took part in an international Internship at Steps on Broadway, also in New York City, where she worked closely with world renowed teachers and choreographers.

Katy has been involved in numerous teaching courses throughout Canada and the United States, furthering her knowledge and keeping up to date with the dance world. Katy is a fully registered member and teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and has her certification in Ballet teaching studies through the RAD. She is a Canadian dance adjudicator and a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.

Katy is M1 certified through Acrobatic Arts and is continuing her studies in Acro Dance. She has had many students attend professional schools such as the National Ballet School of Canada, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, Quinte Ballet School of Canada, The Ailey School, Joffrey and many more. She has had multiple students have the honour of dancing with Canada's Ballet Jorgen in the Christmas production of The Nutcracker. Her students successfully complete Ballet exams each year and thrive through their technique. Her students attend Youth America Grand Prix each year where she has had students place in the top 12. 

Katy strongly believes in creating a fun, positive, and understanding environment for every student and family while bringing enthusiasm and excitement to her classes.


Lee Mattox

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Lee grew up surrounded by dance.  Beginning at age three he progressed through tap, jazz and ballet at his family's studio. He began to expand his dance knowledge into modern, hip-hop, lyrical, and musical theatre by continuing to study at the Jeanette Neill Dance Center in Boston and local community theatre.

While attending the University of New Hampshire Lee worked through their dance program, expanding his knowledge into the aerial arts, including trapeze, silks, Spanish Web, and lyra.  During his time there, he taught tap, ballet, and jazz technique and choreographed for the Portsmouth School of Ballet and SoleCity Dance.  Later, Lee’s talents were seen around the world performing with Royal Caribbean, traveling all over the Caribbean, Northern Europe and Russia.

Lee’s dance influences are rooted deep in the history of jazz dance, one of which is the jazz pioneer and also his grandfather, Matt Mattox.  He has studied under teachers such as Luigi, Brenda Buffalino, and Jeanette Neill, and all who have brought him to where he is today.  Adding to his family’s talents, his sister recently finished the Broadway revival of West Side Story as Graziella, a member of the original cast of On the Town, and the revival of Carousel.


Kristen White

Kristen began her dance career at Studio Dance Pointe when she was only 8 years old. Quickly she advanced to join the competitive team doing Jazz, Acro, and Ballet, by her second year of dance. Her love of dance grew stronger over the years as she was introcued to Lyrical and Contemporary. She has worked with many choreographers such as Jordan Clark, Tiffany Mclaughlan, Vanessa Compton, Mitchell Jackon, and more. 

Kristen showed great leadership skills and she was asked to start assisting Acro technique classes with Studio Dane Pointe's head teacher Shelley Scott and teacher Jordanne Scott. Soon after that, Kristen was working in many classes, and even summer dance camps. Kristen even had the opportunity to travel to Boston in 2014 to assist Amber Mattox in a Jazz and Lyrical workshops. After assisting for 3 years she was able to start choreographing her own routines at 16 whilst still competing herself.

Her choreography has recieved many awards and overall placements. After graduating high school and moving on to post secondary to become a physio therapy assistant at St. Clair College she continued, and still remains a loyal and passionate teacher at Studio Dance Pointe.


Nicole Lanoue

Nicole has always had a passion for dance. She grew up as a competitive dancer, studying Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. She has attended professional summer school programs at Royal Winnipeg Ballet as well as The Quinte Ballet School of Canada. Nicole has also been a part of multiple High School project productions at The Grand Theatre, including My Fair Lady and Legally Blonde where she worked as the Dance Captain for the show. She successfully completed her RAD advanced 2 Ballet Exam and hopes to one day perform her Solo Seal examination. Nicole is thrilled to be a part of the Studio Dance Pointe Staff and is looking forward to a great season! 


Madeline Madronich

Maddie has been dancing since she was 6 years old and competing since she was 8. She began her education at Dynamic Dancers followed by Ballare Studio Dance and has since completed ballet and jazz exams through the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA). Maddie started assisting at the age of 12 and has been teaching at multiple studios throughout southwestern Ontario for the past 6 years.


With her passion for teaching and determination she continues to expand her knowledge and build her teaching ability through a number of training courses and workshops. Attending the Toronto Teacher’s Expo and completing the level one CDTA teacher training in 2018 were two of the ways Maddie has expanded her knowledge. She is certified in Acrobatic Arts level 1 and is currently pursuing her associates membership in Ballet with the CDTA.


Victoria Wilson

Victoria began to dance at the age of 3 in a small town just outside of Hamilton. She loved her hometown studio where she trained and competed in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip Hop. While attending high school, Victoria also competed as part of her schools cheerleading team, earning MVP in her last season with Assumption College.

After high school, Victoria joined the dance team at McMaster University and quickly became a passionate choreographer and leader on the executive team. She later auditioned for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats dance team. Through this experience, she had the opportunity to perform for One Republic, Shania Twain, Alessia Cara and SonReal.

Victoria has been involved in the Hamilton dance community for almost 20 years, and is excited to be sharing her passion with Studio Dance Pointe in St. Thomas


Kacey Scott

Kacey began her career in gymnastics at the age of 3 at the Mountain Star Gym club in Hamilton, ON, and furthered her training at the age of 6 by starting to dance. Kacey has competed with Studio Dance Pointe in all styles for 4 years and now shares her skills and talents with both our recreational and competitive level students.

She has a passion for musical theatre and has been to numerous Disney auditions, as well as participating in many performances in the area. Kacey is now a college graduate and hopes to inspire her students to share their theatrical skills and do what they love


Sheryl McCaulley

Sheryl is our beginner Acro teacher, and began teaching in the very early years of Dance Pointe. Over the years, she has been involved as a dance Mom, when her own children were apart of the competitive team, a volunteer, and a dance teacher. She grew up competing in gymnastics, throughout her high school years and began coaching gymnastics at the St. Thomas Gymnastics Club. Sheryl has a passion for helping her students in their beginning stages of dance. Encouraging them to set their goals, and loves helping them to achieve them. Her favourite part is then watching them grow up and flourish as dancers, through the years!
